Message: Amp's "motorboating." Something is probably wrong internally, you'll likely need to either have it repaired or replace it.

Message: bs, i had this same problem. two things you can do. if you have your remote running to your fusebox then put it on the other side of the fuse and if not connect the remote to the main ignition wire in your steering column.

Message: If by "turning your amp up", do you mean cranking the gains? If you are using the gains as a "volume" knob for your amp, then you're setting your amp up wrong and will eventually burn it up. You need to make sure your gain is set to the output of your preamp from your deck. If you need more amp, then buy a bigger amp, don't overdrive it.

Message: Hey guys,
Is what the above poster said true? If you turn up your gain you will burn your amp out. That statment seems ludacris. I can understand it you are cranking your gain up to 100% to get the effect you need, but at that level you should be fuzzing your subs out and it would sound horible. So is that statement true or just after say 70% or more?
Thanks in advanced!
Always Thankfull,
Ben

Message: You could burn something up by overdriving the amp but usually they are designed to run peak without problems. But it will sound like crap, I would agree on if you must run your amp with the gain all the way up for god sake do your amp a favor and get a more powerful one so your current amp doesn't have to run a marathon everytime you listen to music.
