I'm looking at buying a new head unit for my '01 dak. I've decided on the Alpine 9811 unless I can find the 9813 at a good price (hint hint). My biggest drawback is the install. I can get the unit for like $270 online, but that doesn't include wiring harness or dash kit.
How hard is it to install a new head unit with the dash kit? Any suggestions for an online retailer that has real good prices? If I end up going with the 9813, how hard is it to splice the amp wire into the ignition system?

hey matt hypaudio has that alpine for 237. I've had real good luck ordering from them. The dash install kit is a breeze, and besides the harness adaptor you'll need an antena adaptor.
