Hi, I was thinking about two 10's. These are the spec's on them.

Competition-grade: 2400-watt handling capacity
270-oz. strontium magnet

10" nonpressed paper cone with aluminum ribbed cone insert

Patent-pending die-cast aluminum rib insert couples with the voice coil former to dissipate 50% of the heat from the voice coil

Heat-dissipating design allows the woofer to handle 56% more power without sacrificing sensitivity

3" dual voice coil

Vibration-absorbing dual conex spider keeps voice coil properly centered

Large foam rubber surround suspends the cone, maintaining proper centering even while producing slamming bass

Durable one-piece EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) gasket; sturdy 1.75 cu. ft. wooden box

Sensitivity: 89dB SPL (sound pressure level)

Tuning: 40Hz

Continuous Power Handling 1000 Watts

and one of there 3500- Watt Class D Mono Digital Amplifier. It says this amp's the perfect component for maximizing subwoofer performance while minimizing distortion, with 10% THD, 18dB bass boost and variable (50-150Hz) lowpass crossover. 3500W (peak) x 1 @ 1 ohm, 10% THD; 1200W (peak) x 1 @ 2 ohms; 650W RMS (continuous) x 1 @ 4 ohms

Is it worth it? Whats with Ohm and all that?

I think it's worth it. Power acoustik hits hard. As
far as the oms, "If i'm wrong please correct" I
think that it is how much power the speaker
draws from the amp. The higher the ohm the
less of a draw. The lower the ohm the higher
the draw. I think, make sure to check w/
someone else though cus' I don't really know
that much!

an "ohm" is the unit for measuring resistance of the coil...lets say you have a 4 ohm voice coil...this means that your sub will impose a 4 ohm load on the amp and the amp will give X amount of power at that load rating....with dual voice coil you can change the resistance...whether you connect the coils in series or parallel....I'm sure I am confusing the hell out of you...but to make it simply the lower your ohms the more wattage your amp puts out...however! most amps aren't made to handle a load less than 2 ohms max...unless it specifies "1 ohm stable"...if you drop below 2 ohms and you amp isn't rated for it...9 times out of 10 you will fry the crap out of your amp
