Subject: Help w/ tweeters IP: Logged
Message: OK. My tweeter in my '01 dakota r/t just went bad. It makes a weird popping noise. So I'm going to replace it. What are some good tweeters to replace it with? What are the tweeters even for? Please provide me info of them so I know a little of what I'm talking about when I go to look for some. Thanks.

Message: The tweeters are made for playing high frequencies (<2000hz) or treble. By having seperate tweeters you get more detailed highs and it sounds way better. I'd reccomend replacing not only the tweeters but also the woofer in the door with a pair of component speakers, check out the infinity reference series, they are really good. check out www.sounddomain.com
