Glassed the wells and made it about 8-9 inches deep should hold just about any 10inch sub , And man does it sound good !!

This is probably a real stupid question.
I want to make a sub box like you did for your dakota. I used to swear the seatbelts went through the toolbox but now that i think of it more i don't think they do at all. To get the box out do you just unscrew and pull it out or is there more to it.
Also how did you make your box. I don't know much about fiberglass and boxes. But I would like to make something myself just to look it at and then feel proud about something i did myself.

You have to remove the sidecovers and rear cover to get the factory tool tray out . I made a piece of 3/4 mdf to fit the floor than cut out the parts where the wells are underneath , glassed down in the wells uinderneath and then made the box on top of it . It was not easy to do but it worked out for me . If you look at all the pics you can get an idea of how I did it .

Couldnt find anything else I liked better than my Dak . So im keeping it for now !!
