Subject: SPEAKER BOX IP: Logged
Message: I just bought a sub box for my 2 12' subs
But I noticed that it is not divided nor ported
Will it matter if I just install my subs in it.

Message: If your running both the subs as in series or parallel off one amp channel (bridged amp) then your OK. If your running the subs on seperate left and right channels the subs can fight against each other in the common air space, not good. Having no port isn't a problem, you have a sealed enclosure. Just make sure to use foam tape (weather stripping) on the subs mounting surface so the box is completely air tight.
When the box is assembled push down on the subs cone for 30 seconds and the release it, the cone should rise realy realy slow. this shows that the box is pretty darn air tight. If the cone comes up quickly it's not sealed and will degrade the sound quality.
