Subject: Question on 94 Dakota audio IP: Logged
Message: Hey Guys,
I wondered if anyone else has ever had this problem. I have a 94 dakota club cab I just recently bought. The other day the stereo just quit, it would work on and off for a few days, and I began looking for a new radio. Now it is working for a few days, I don't what the problem is. Can anyone give me an idea of the problem might be. I'm thinking I should go through and put a nice system in it, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks
Lawrence

Message: It sounds like a bad ground to me. It could also be a bad power wire connection. The previous owner probably had an aftermarket unit then threw that one back in when he sold it. If the wires are cut then inspect the connections, if it is a poor job you should re-do it.

Message: I agree with blue92.
Check the wiring.
If not that, then put a nice little aftermarket deck in.

Message: OK, thanks for all the replies. Believe it or not, since I posted my question the stereo has been working better than ever. I think I'll wait it out, if it acts up again....happy birthday to me I'm getting a system. :)
Thanks again.
