 Subject: Headunit Tossup?

I have decided to buy a new headunit for my truck. I'm tossing between Pioneer DEH-P7500MP or Alpine CDA-9807. These two have everything i need but i'm unsure of which is better. I've heard that Alpine has better sound capacity, but i'm not sure. Any input?

I'd go with the Alpine, I have a CDA-9805 and the only reason I didn't get the 9807 is that I thought the other matched the factory dash better. I am very happy with the features, performance, ergonomics and price of the Alpines.

if u dont run amps then they are both fine but if u run a system get pioneer. even though the alpine says the preouts are 4 volts they were all tested and they were all 1.75 so it was not good i wouldnt buy a product that the company lies about. think about that before you get alpine i will always use pionee most features for the money

After alot of research I bought the Alpine CDA-9805 this weekend, and I really like it. I was going to get the Pioneer deh-4500 but I just didn't like it. I looked at the Alpine CDA-9807 but the silver face and blue display was a turn off. The 9805 matches the interior much better.

Anthony - Are you hooking up a system to that headunit? I am, just curious that's all. My headunit all ready powers my speakers, and i bought an 8" sub and a 350watt amp to use as well.

Yes I already have a system. The Alpine made a big difference in sound quality, because of the sub preouts and seperate sub controls too fine tune the system. You'll enjoy it!!!
