Message: Is this the single-CD-only (no cassette) radio? If it's the one I'm thinking of, then what you'll have to do is pull the radio out and remove the faceplate. Removing the faceplate involves:
1) pull volume knob off of shaft
2) pull EQ slider knobs off
3) remove four screws, two on each side of faceplate
4) remove faceplate by gently pryting retention notches up on top and bottom of faceplate
Now, with the faceplate removed, you can get at the back of the lens. You can also remove the lens, there are two wide snap mounting tabs on both sides of the lens (looking at it from the back of the faceplate.

well, that's different... it's the Mitsubishi radio. Let me pull one off of the shelf and have a look.

Message: okay, with the Mitsu radio, you do the same things with two exceptions:
1) when you pull the faceplate off, there is a circuit board on the back of the faceplate that needs to be removed. three screws and snaps along the top and bottom hold it in.
2) You cannot remove the lens from the faceplate, so the best you can do is a get a Q-tip or piece of tissue in there and clean the inside.
"How do you get the Dash trim off thats around the radio off?"
- first, remove the fuse cover (left side of dash.)
- Then remove the knee bolster trim (big gray piece below the steering column.)
- Remove the plastic cover from the steering column.
- Remove two screws from black plastic trim piece, which are right above the instrument cluster.
- The black trim panel should be able to be pulled off now.
