 Subject: Sub box

I got a regular cab gen 1 dakota and want to put 2 10's behind the seat but I dont want to have to move my seat ahead any. I was wondering if it would work if I built a real wide fairly high and shallow box to make up the air space difference instead of of the normal size box. Would it work or do they have to be a certain depth??

That'll work fine, they (the subs) don't care about the dimensions of the box as long as there is enough air space, and they can fit in the box.
