 Subject: amp cuts out

i recently installed 2 12's in my brothers (125w max) connected to a jensen 15w amp. not much, but a little boost. whenever the system is at half or higher the amp cuts out on high amounts of bass. any help on resolving this would really be appreciated. thanks.

Some head units will do this. I had a Nakamichi cd player that would lower the bass at higher level to help with distortion.
