Greetings to all...
I guess I'm just too old for this kind of severe sound :-) I put the Kicker Sub and Alpine amp in my truck and ran them for around 2 weeks before I realized that my "homemade" sub box was leaking lots of air. I had every intention of building another box and re-installing, until I started listening to my Alpine system without the Sub and Amp. The system itself produced enough volume and bass--for my liking, anyway--that I got lazy and put off building the box. I finally came to the conclusion that I would be perfectly happy with my system without the added Sub and Amp, and I would save a lot of space in the back of my SLT as well (with laziness being a factor, too).
With that in mind, I am selling the Kicker Sub and the Alpine Amplifier. Here are the details:
-- Kicker 8" Solo-Baric L5 (S8L5) 4-Ohm DVC for $85.00...
-- Alpine MRP-M350 mono amp for $110.00
Both are excellent products and basically brand new. I'll pay for shipping. I have a PayPal account, so I would accept a PayPal payment. If that doesn't work for someone, I'll accept a Money Order instead.

According to the Kicker website, you'll need a minimum of .33 cubic feet, max .75 cubic feet for a sealed box...
.66 cubic feet/1.00 for a vented boc.

After all that your ditching the sub & amp? :(
Remember all those other guys that told you to go with an even BIGGER system... I told ya that sub will would be plenty - now even it's tiny self is too much? ;)
FYI - people this is the same sub I have in my Quad Cab ('cept mine is 2ohm) & it's a steal at that $ :o check my website linked below for a box that work great in this application.

They retail for $150, so you got a deal then too... unless you bought it from some place that was not an authorized Kicker dealer (no warranty).

Yeah, it turned out to be too much for me. My stepson loved it, but then, he's into that hip-hop stuff. I just didn't need the extra bass.

Someone did make an offer, but I have not heard from the person since, so I'm considering it still up for sale. I could take pics if you like and email them to you.
I don't have the original box (I always throw things away thinking I'm not ever going to need the box) and I have the owner's manual.
