Subject: 4 channel amp or sub (quadcab) IP: Logged
Message: I have Alpine type-r components up front and I was wondering if I sould put my 8 inch sub on the rear hump facing down and amp the fronts with a 200w 2-channel and forget the rears or should I just replace the rear speakers and add a 4 channel amp. I'm only asking becuse I'm on a budget so I can't afford to waste money.
My jvc sx-980 deck is distorted or crackly at intense moments in songs so If I don't amp the rears I'll have to forget about them. the deck dosen't seen to be loud at all thats why I want to amp. thanks everyone.

Message: If your on a budget forget the rears, you can barely hear them anyway. One 8" facing down on rear hump works great... see my website linked below.
