Subject: Which speakers? IP: Logged
Message: Ok, I here's what i'm doing. I've got a sony MD player deck, a 6 disc changer, I'm going to put the infinity kappa 6.5 components in the front, and i have 2 10's in a thunderform under the back seat. Here's the question. I can't decide to put in another set of the component speakers in the back, or just some 2 way speakers. Probably won't even tell the difference with the subs huh?

Message: It's up to you if you want to spend the extra money. Unless you mount the tweeters in the back in a spot you can clearly hear them it is almost a waste of money.
Check out my truck on page 3, I have componets in the back and really like them.

Message: Components in the back = waste of money. Where do you sit in the truck? So, put the speakers there then! :) You want front sound stage in your vehicle, just like at a concert or movie theather. So unless your installing a DVD player and 5.1 Dolby system the rear speakers are just for "fill".

Message: actually i do have a dvd player (ps2) but i don't think 5.1 in a vehicle is pratical so i think i'll stick with 2 ways.
