 Subject: Wiring Diagram for Orion Cobalt 230

A friend gave me an Orion Cobalt 230 amp and I need a wiring diagram for it. I am not sure which plugs are in and which are out. If anybody could help I will appreciate it.

ckeck the manufacturers web site, some of them publish the owners manual in a .pdf format and will allow you to download it for free. I know for fact that Infinity does this but I am not sure about Orion.

I just checked the manufactureres web site. Try http://www.orioncaraudio.com/alley/pdfs/cobalt1sers.pdf
and it will take you directly to the manual you need. You will need to download and install Acrobat reader to read the file if you don't already have it, but the website will provide it for free. http://www.orioncaraudio.com/alley/Manuals.asp and click onthe Acrobat reader icon.

hmm, i checked the manual and it shows the wiring diagrzm for it, but i still dont know if that diagram is for input or output. any help i will appreciate.

nevermind the wiring diagram.. got it working. except, now it wont turn on if the cd player is turned on.. if i turn it off, or unplug it from the cd player, it turns on. any ideas? its about to drive me crazy

i found the problem.. i wasnt using the preout of the cd player. i changed over to that and it works fine.
