Subject: Subs in the door panels of a 2001 QC. IP: Logged
Message: I was wondering,if I could put subs in the door panels of my cousin's 2001 QC 4.7 liter. We are trying to figure out a way to put something bigger than 8 inch subs in the truck, he is building a custom box that he is going to try and put 2 10's in and put them behind the seats, and also gonna try and put 2 10's in a custom center console box, but i was wanting to see if we could possibly put 10's or even 12's in the door panels on all 4 doors. If anyone could help in anyway it would be appreciated, if someone has done this before, please send me photos and instructions on how to do it to my email: big_john_boy_2000@yahoo.com thanks once again.

Message: I wouldn't try it, it will be very hard to seal the doors up with enough room for the subs and the windows if you want them to be able to come down. I would just put 2 10's behind the back seat and maybe a third in a custom center console if needed.

If you want 12"s that bad you better rip out the back seat... or atleast one side of it.

Message: Hey JMII, I have tried to e-mail you but I keep getting an error message back. I am interested in getting the plans for that sub box you built. I have a 2000 QC and need some extra base.
