Subject: PLEASE help!!! Bypassing factory amp!! IP: Logged
Message: Hey guys, tommorow I am going to attempt to bypass my factory infinity amp to install some 6.5" aftermarkets with tweets in the doors and then disable the rest of the speaker in the truck except for the 10" sub.
What is the best way to hardwire around the factory amp??? The system is setup now, on a JVC head with a 760watt pioneer amp and a 10" xplod woofer and then the infinity system. 3 of my infinity speakers are blown and i REALLY want to bypass it...
Do I bypass it near the amp??? Or right off the head unit wires for the front speakers?!?!
Once I am done wiring it, whats the best way to kill power to the factory amp so i dont have to worry about the other speakers?!?!?
THANK YOU for ANY help you guys can give me!!!

Remove it and run new cabling from the radio. The amp is behind the passenger side kickpanel.
