I'm thinking its just a plastic molding of some sort. Could someone let me know if they did anyting with subs under the back seat of a quad dak. Thanks

Message: Under the seat is carpet and sheet metal. Feel from undneith the truck and the body goes up to that hump. You could do ALLLLLLLLLOT of work and make it lower but then you have to re-carpet and so on... U can fit subs behind the back seats if you do it right. I have 3 8" solo baric L7's behind my seats. Sounds awsome. Take it easy guys

Message: It would take some MAJOR work, plus isn't the gas tank near by? BlackDak20 has the right idea... you'll just lose the ability to lift up the rear seats if you build a box behind them.
Other options:
behind the center console like mine (easy!) or some people (TonyC on this board I think) rebuilt the whole center console to hold to two 8" really custom and pretty trick.

Message: JMII ur right. The gas tank is right there next to the hole. U could remove it to do the work but i dont think its worth it at all. Do behind the seats or a center counsil, either way works great. Depends on what you want, i have 3 8" subs and i guess tonyc's way you could fit 2, i have seen counsils w/ a 10" in there. All depends on what your going for. Other than what we here have told you, i havent heard of another option. Any more questions feel free to ask
