Subject: Back seat removal? IP: Logged
Message: Just wondering if taking the back of the Back seat off is easy and what might be the best way to take it off? I want to put put in some subs back there.

Message: 4 bolts, lift straight up. (there are hooks behind the back part of the seat). 02 QC

Message: The bolts are bit tricky to get at, but once you get them off the seats lift right out easily. Be careful getting them thru the doors however, it's a tight squeeze.

Message: Another method to try, depending on what you are doing and how you want to do it, is to just remove the seat back. You can do this by removing the two Torx head bolt/screws on each side of the seat frame. If you are planning on putting a sub-box in there this may be easier then trying to get the seat frame bolts back in when you can't get the seat to fold up any longer.
