I just recently bought 2 10' Rockford Fosgate HX2 Punch's. I have been told by some people they are good subs and other they are crappy? So, did I buy good subs or will I need something a little better? The subs aren't for competiton or anything. Mostly for my own personal pleasure and also the occasional show off...

I have 2 10" RF HX2's in me dak, and they sound great to me. They are complemented by a set of infinity components in the doors, and some audiobahn 6x9's in the rear, but I think I'll be upgrading the 6x9's soon. I've had them for about 6 weeks, and I've had no problems so far. If you get enough power going to them, and the proper air space, everybody around you will be able to enjoy your new purchase.

I have 4 15" RF HE's and a memphis 1500d amp in my dakota a i like them,the hx2's are the next step up i guess they would be even better.The people that don't like them are prolly the ones that don't like changes in there subs,i'll put it this way JL audio is one,there subs have been the same for years,there great subs too i have owned some but they never change the subs and RF does and thats why some people don't like RF,maybe they think new things may not be as good or better than things that have stayed the same for years.Some guy came up beside me the other day and said,why RF?,my 18" inch kicker outdoes most guys systems in my town,then he turned them up,i just turned my RF's up,what'd he do?He kept his mouth shut,thats for sure...lol.You have 2 out of 2 reply's that RF's are great subs.

Put me down for rockford. I have an 8 in my MR2 and two friends running 12's in sunfires and they arer awesome. We all beat the crap out of them. Good stuff.

i got an RF Punch HE 10' in my truck in a sealled box it's not quite enuf for me but it was all i could get. i'm paying for the second one right now:)
