Subject: Can I mount 6-1/2" speaks in rear of RC? IP: Logged
Message: Is it possible to install 6-1/2" rounds in the rear speaker panels for the regular cab. I know the crew cab and quad can take the 6s, but the regular cab is smaller.
I was hoping one of you all knew before I had to go back and get in there to see.
[ Background ]
The speakers I am installing in the rear are going to be CDT or Adire Midbass drivers, not components. I prefer to keep my sound stage up front. Back there is just a really nice spot for a midbass driver. They will be complimenting the Perfect 6.1s up front ran by a 300/2.

Message: Try going to WWW.Crutchfield.com they have a section called "What fits my car". Just punch in year , make, and model and it will show you what will fit.

Message: Oh no, I think you may have misunderstood. I have done that and I have gone into the manual and Infinity's site. See, I know what is supposed to fit, but I want to rig up a way to get a 6.5 in there. I will probably find a way. if anything it's probably just a little cutting and maybe fabbing a mount.
