alright, right now i'm making a sub box that goes under my back seat for my 2 MTX 8000 12's. How many inches should i leave from the back magnet of the sub to the bottom of the box??? please help me asap.! Thanks,

if the speaker has a vented pole piece, then leave about an inch. At the very least leave a half-inch. If it's not vented, then don't worry about it other than making sure it doesn't actually touch the box.
