 Subject: Will 5.25" components fit?

I was looking at buyign some 5.25" Pioneer components. Will these fit in the 6 1/2" speaker places? I've seen a Dakota with some 5 1/4" components, but i'm not positive that they'll fit in my Dakota. Thanks,

you'll need adapter plates, but they should fit as long as they're not significantly deeper than the stock speakers.
