 Subject: RC sound system?

Just wondering what you RC guys have done for a system, bing that the space behind the seats is very limited.... I wanted to get at least one 10" Kicker Solobaric in it somehow.... without cutting into the cab sheetmetal into the bed....

I had an '88 with a bench seat and through careful measurements and templates I was able to fit 2-10's and the amp to power them without putting the seat forward... and it slammed... the hardest part is looking for shallow 10's that still handle power..

yeah.... pretty sure the Solobaric's have a rather shallow mounting depth, but I highly doubt the ability to fit a box behind either seat now :(
Although, has anyone cutsom rigged one into the back of the center console, facing the rear? hmm...

you can fit a 10 pretty easily. I brought a pre-made box and lost 2 clicks on the pass seat. with alittle time you could buid one that you didn't lose any clicks. btw in order to put it behind the pass seat I had to move the jack and lug wrench and cut off the bracket that held it down.

i had 2 12s in my 97 rc behind the seats. im 6'3 and my knees were killing me, so i did a custom blow thru with 8 12's, 2 15s, 4 10s, and 2 8's all powered by 8 legacy 1800 watt amps.

I had a custom center console with a Solobaric 8, it hit very well, people asked where the 10's were at.

Sorry for the delay, it measures, 22 1/2 long, 13 1/2 tall, 10 1/2 wide. Holds an 8inch solobaric with a 2 inch port along the bottom, give me a day or two and I will get pics.

i have a solobaric L5 12 in my reg cab. with no lost leg room. i am running it inverted though but if you like how it looks then its the way to go.
