Message: Aiden, It's pretty easy if you ask me, and personally, I don't think it's worth paying to have it done. I don't know what year yours is, but mines an 02 club cab. The adapter comes with instuction on how to use the adapter, but not sure if it has anything on removing the old head unit. There's a screw right above the gauge assembly, and a few more at the bottom of the dash where your knees usually are. Take those screws out, and then just pull on it, and it comes right off. There are some clips that hold it in place that you have to just pull on after you take the screws out. You will prolly have to push the e-brake, and then put your dak in 1st gear to get the dash off. There are some plugs too, one by the headlights knob, and then a couple more over by the radio. get those off, and get the dash out of your way, after that, theres some screws that hold the factory head unit in place. Take those out, remove the stock H.U. and put your new one in. I had to have an adapter for the antenna on mine too. Let us know how it goes, Good Luck.

Message: Just a simple tip...take the dash off and it's that easy. The dash should just pop right off and there are usually 2 screws holding in the head unit, and there are clips for the wiring harness behind the unit, you can buy wiring kits at any car audio store and basically just connect the matching colors and it's that easy.
