topic about sums it up. I'm not sure weither I will get rid of my xtant x-series subs even if I use just one they are nice subs, but to those that know.
would it be more worth my while to get an adire audio maelstrom 18 in a 3cu,ft box or an elementaldesign 15a. they both are around the same power handleing, the maelstrom requires a bigger box but I've been assured by dan higgins of adire that I will be able to reach my goal of getting at least 135db in a sealed 3.0cuft box.
I have heard only alittle about the ed 15a, but the specs on it pretty much speak for themselves.
as previously stated I don't know if a replacement is in the works, but I am strongly considering one.

the elemental designs are nice speakers but i would get an RE audio 12 or 15. they cost more but it is worth it. you could just get an adire audio brahma 15 too.

I talked to dan wiggins and he feels I can get more spl with the maelstrom. the box size is about the same as the bahrama. the elemental designs uses a box close to what I have now for ported.
by re do you mean resonant engineering? I've been unable to find a site for them to check there stuff out. I live in a kinda small town.

ed 15a was what I was thinking, I bought a new headunit yesterday, so I'll get that hooked up and get a couple of paychecks in me before I make a move.
I was in sound advice last night talking to one of there installers with 3 13w7's and he looked at me like I was crazy, he never heard of elemental design or adire audio.

www.reaudio.com you can check them out there and i think buy them from them. they are nice but i don't know if they are what you are lookin for. i couldnt tell you the numbers you would pull out of them.

yeah I found them yesterday, theres something about those subs thats stearing me away from them. I like how they have an 18, but theres just not enough info on there subs.
