Message: A little help please. I have a 99RT with the premium infinity system and it sucks, because my speakers are all blown. I want to replace the speakers with some that will hold the sound of the unit at max volume without blowing. I am audio illiterate and counting on you for help. I dont want to change the way my interior looks (I want the speakers to fit the current holes with the current covers. I have heard it will be necessary to re-wrie the entire system unless I go back with infinity speakers. Is this true? Please help.

Message: No need to rewire. Buy a set of real Infinitys you'll be much happier. In my '02 QC the factory cut-out matched perfectly with the Reference Series tweeters, however the mids required a small mounting ring to make 'em fit. See my web site for more info...

Message: I replaced the factory speakers in a 98 cc with infinty premium, used Infinity Kappa's 652.5i's,2-ways, great sound improvement. Just had to drill 4 holes, cut the factory spkr wires, solder them to the Infinity supplied crossover, screwd the new spkrs in the lower door and rear cabin.. done.
I left the original factory tweeters in place just to fill the hole in the upper door panel.
For a few bucks, $50.00, you could het the INifinity Kappa components for the fronts, but the 2 ways sound just great, and will take more than all the volume the factory deck will throw at um, plus more if you later decide to upgrad the headunit.
