Hey guys, I've just finished my center console. It took about two weekends and 4 late afternoons to finish it. Got some custom body work to the end of it. Damn thing hits too... I just put it on the web so you can view it at

Thanks, a buddy of mine did most of the work.. He made CAD drawings and everything.. It came out sweet. Just need a grille now....

By the way its a 10in Kicker L5, and the console has about .90 cu.ft. of air space. Hope everyone likes it.

Do you have the measurements and stuff you made for the box or the design or a sketch that you had made could you send it to ital_stallion@hotmail.com I'm thinking to do the same thing as you did and yours had turned out great, it looks SWEET... If you could send those over that would be great.

Well the drawings for the box were made with a 3-D Computer Aided Drafting program so its impossible to post, I'm looking for a 2 dimensional picture that was 1st made so you can have and Idea how it went together. Materials include 3/4 MDF Board,BONDO,Vynl,Foam,Spray adhesive, and most of all patience..I asked my buddy about how much, he said without the sub, probably about $400, and I swear you won't be dissapointed.

I'm not really into taking out my center console too much. You did do a great job though. I'm an Engineer with all sorts of CAD software at my fingertips. If you email me the igs files, or dfx file, or whatever he's using, I can probably convert them and make you guys drawings. Just a thought....

hey man that looks great, would like to try the same thing with the sub I have now, question though. you made the console 11 inches wide. due you think it would be possible to get it up to 13 inches wide at the back of the box? I'd like to try a similar setup.

Well if you look at the pictures closely, you will notice that the box flares at the end where the sub is. Thats 11 inches wide, the rest of the box towards the front is 8-3/4 and then it widens out again for the cup holders/junk cube. So in otherwards maybe. If your trying to put a 12in woofer where I put my 10, it will flare out a whole lot more and then you can't lean or move your seats back..Like I said the pic I have was only the prelim's to the box....

I've seen alot of effort put into getting subs into a quad cab. Anyone ever think of alter the floor under the rear seats to get one in. Seems like a talented person could get a box made to mount under the cab. Just a stupid thought....

You know that was the first place I looked.. Unfortunately the fuel tank, exhaust and drive line are in you way under the rear seats...so no luck.. If there was room, the box would have to be fiberglass..

i have been looking for A LONG TIME for a good box. this is BY FAR THE BEST one i have seen for a quad. the ram head logo is a VERY nice add to this box. the detail of the separate pieces of vinyl is amazing. only thing i would have done different is flushmount the sub - like countersunk it into the box so it would have bee even. but it still is the best box i have seen yet.

My buddy wanted flush mount the speaker. Currently he's doing something like that to another guys center console for a 98 Chevy ext cab.. Only problem is it gets very hard to wrap the box and the fact that I'm so damm impatient.....

there has been some other center console boxes built, not as nice though in my opinion.
for a singal cab the best I have seen is intense39's.
