 Subject: 2 8" Subs... Amp Wattage?

Hey
I just bought a sub box with 2 8" subs for my 93 RC Dakota. I need something to power it now. I dont want huge bass, I just want nice sounding bass compared to what i have now. How many watts should i look for in my amp i will get? Since I dont need thumping bass, I was thinking 240watt 2 channel amp? Would that be ok?

Like justin said... how much are the speaker rated to take? Get as close to the number as you can afford. Hopefully you got a crossover to keep the mid-bass out of your subs too.
