Ok---here's what's up. I blew out a set of polk
midbass from a component set. I am flat broke right now--or I would get a new set. Would it work if I took a set of coaxials and put them in place of the midbass---yet still hook them up to the crossover network??? And I would keep the original polk tweeters.

Sure it will work... the tweets in the co-ax will not play because the crossover is sending the highs to your Polk tweeters.
