Subject: Tweeter placement in Gen 2 IP: Logged
Message: I was wondering if anyone had put tweeters in the sail panels (the triangular plastic piece in front of the window) of a Gen 2 Dak. If so, did the dash on the right side interfere with the sound they put out? If no one has done it, where else can I mount them so they produce good imaging? Any info would be appreciated.

Message: I have an 87 dakota, and i mounted mine with one of the screws the hold the bracket for the sun visor. on screw is all you need, and you can tuck you wire behind the plastic panel that follows the windsheild down to the dash. mine sound really good, look cool, and ijmaging is just fine. i think that if you put them in the sil panels, the dash would block some of the frequincies. try this, and see if you can understand where im tryin to say where to put them. i ran mine in line with my front speakers. sound really good, like i said.
