8" subs will fit... just do not go thinking about stuffing 12" back there with thousands of watts of power 'cause it ain't going to work. A small system will get plenty loud in the smaller interior of a regular cab. You would be amazed at how good one 8" sounds when done right.

I had an '88 and managed to build a box to run 2-10's in a sealed enclosure and house the amp that powered them in the cneter of it. Took a lof ot time to build but I was very happy with the results...

i have a 12 with a 1000 watt amp in my std cab. it is only running 600 though cuz i have 2 ohms instead of 1 which the amp is stable at. then on top of that i have another amp 200 watts for my component set. it is possible to cram a large system in it is just a matter of if you want to lose slight leg room and that little bit of storage behind the seat. i would say get one ten though they hit lower freq then an 8. i personally like the sound of a 10 over an 8. but it is all preference so you would have to listen to it in another truck.

i had 2 12's, an amp, eq and xover behind the seats of my 98 RC. as a matter of fact, i just took it all out and is for sale. the box required the removal of the jack but some sacrifices have to be made.

what can you fit behind the seats with the seats all the way back, because im tall and cant move them up at all, but i still want some bass, thanx alot let me know
