hey JD,
if you have any Memphis dealers in your area, go and talk to them.
the studio class is changing to the "M class" for this year. if they can get a studio, it will be cheaper because of the new model. the new ones are the exact same as the studios, except black.
thats how i got my st1000d for cheaper. i got it for about $300 CND cheaper

honestly man, unless you are gonna bridge 2 of the channels on that amp to run a sub, or are looking for competition grade (ie-push the amp less = miniscule amounts of less noise)...just get the mc2004. It will blow your ears out. . just my 2 cents. i just put mine in. thats my 2 cents. it sounds damn good and it goes louder than i will ever want it to.
