I have am 01 club cab. Took out the stock crap stereo, even though it was the AM/FM/CD with the "Infinity" speakers. They may be made by Infinity, but not their best stuff.

Here is what I put in.

Kenwood Z919 CD/MP3 player. 3 Kenwood amps. One for 6" 3 ways in the doors, one for 6x9" 3 ways in the back panel and one for the 10" MTX in its own box sitting in the middle of the back "seat".

"ROCK AND ROLL!!!!!" O.O.

Leandro - RMS are watts: everyone calls it something different but basically it's the average output of the amp. And since during musical peaks most amps can double there power for short bursts you often see companies rating their amps as 500 watts RMS, 1000 PEAK.

However since there are no laws regarding how amps are tested the numbers mean nothing... a "500 watt amp" may actually put out only 300 watts or as much 900 watts! This is why is pays to research amps that are tested by an independant souce and just ignore the ratings. For example both MTX & Kicker ship thier amps with a "birth certificate" showing how many real watts they have.
