You need to modify the hinges by moving them up and they work. This is the only way I have found to get good bass out of the club cab with still having the rear seat. I used to have a Thunderform and pulled it out. The bass wasn't to my liking. For some people i guess it is ok. I just like to feel it in my chest when I crank it up. I just think that for the money the thunderform costs, that it should sound a little better. It works for some people though. I guess it all depends on what your looking for. Mine also has a center tray for an amp or whatever you need. Just my 2 cents.

each sub in my box has 1.3" ft^3 the sub can have a mounting depth up to 7.25"

thats where the problem is with "other" sub boxes. they have a solid wood bottom and you lose alot of airspace because its not contoured to the bottom of the truck. you also lose space due to the amp rack

i believe jasons box has about .65 ft^3 per sub (i think i read that on here before). and that is not enough for a GOOD 12". it wont hit those low notes. then you will also have a problem with mounting depth, and you will be very limited to your sub choice.

just remember, the thunderform has .8 ft^3 per sub

Hey baby. I modify the box to fit your subs. That's what the customization is all about.

could you make me a box for a single 12" but have the 12 on the driver side and a port on the passenger side of the enclosure with an amp space in the middle? by the way the amp is a RF power 550x and the sub is a punch hx2. i would also like to keep rear seat usable, thanks in advance

I designed a sealed box like that about a month ago for someone on here. I will need the specs on the sub and build it from there. The seat hinges will most likely need to be moved up a few inches to retain the stock function. email me with the specs and the description of what you need. I will work on it tonight when I get home.
