Subject: Port size. Anyone know? IP: Logged
Message: Hey, does anyone knows how to calculate the size of the tube needed to port a box with the airspace of 1.364 ft cubed? Someone told me a tube that has a 3 inch diameter and is 12 inches long. Can anyone comfirm this?

Message: That port size is for the 1.0cf box i dont know if that will work quite right with your 1.364 box. That rockford website will give you the exact size box and port size.

Message: What size sub, which sub, what do you want it tuned to?? With out knowing what the magnet displacement is and not knowing what you want it tuned to. I came up with a 3" round port at 9.25" long is 35 hz. That should be good. If you did the port at 12" long it would tune the box to 31.37hz.
