Ok I searched and found some older options, and I was curious if anyone knows what current subs that are out are a direct fit for this enclosure. Id like to put in two good tens, but dont want to modify the box if I dont have to. Thanks

Im not sure, I have read that it does not only depend on the mounting depth but also the size of the magnet(because of a non-flat bottom of the enclosure). I dont have the thunderform yet in my possession, its being shipped now. Anybody know what subs work well without mods? thanks

I bought some JL 10W0's a while back from Joezzzzzzzzz on here. They have a 5.375" mounting depth and require a spacer to fit correctly. They are too deep by an eighth inch or so. Joe threw in some 1/2" round foam weatherstrip to fill the gap. It works just about perfect.

Nice job Sean. That 1/2" weatherstripping you are talking of........is that regular weatherstripping from a hardware store you are talking of? What kind of amp are you using for the w0's and how do the sound in the thunderform?

Yep, just normal hardware store stuff. It works fairly well as far as I can tell. I have an MTX 8302 amp in there. The amp hides out of view under my seat. I have had no overheating problems at all.

Being that it's a sealed box and a small amp it's not really booming bass, but it can get loud. Does a good job of filling in the bottom end which is what I wanted.

When I had the panels out to install the tform, I put in 1/2" carpet padding in the walls of the cc area. Neighbor was getting new carpet. Price, free! =) There is nothing in there to begin with. I also doubled up on the sound deadening on the backs of the door panels and the cc panels in the back. Bass and music is heard inside the truck, not outside. Cut down on some road noise too.

Pioneer 3 ways in the front, Infinity Reference 2 ways in the back, and an Alpine 7892 headunit. I am very happy with the setup so far. I'll probably go to either Infinity Kappa 3 ways or components in the front as my next audio purchase.

The volume of the Tform box is 1.8 cubic feet. It already has some polyfil like stuff in it.
