You might try one of those Bazooka Tubes behind the seat. I dunno how big they are but my bro had one in the 90 regular cab that I now drive.
I just have 6X9's in boxes in there now.
Also, Infintiy makes a Sub/Amp-in-one thing. I think the sub is an 8.

I've got a 99 Yellow Dakota Regular Cab and I have the Infinity BassLink behind my passenger seat. I had to move the seat up a little bit, but its not bad at all. I was surprised by how much bass it puts out. I'm glad I got it, plus its got a built in amp. Its worth it and sounds awesome. Hope this helps.

you have a lot of choices on what you can get behind the seat of a regular cab. I wouldn't really try for much more then a 10 and make sure it has a shallow mounting depth

does anyone know if it is possible to mount speakers under the bench in a single cab dak? i have a 93 too and would like to put 6x9's under the seat, but i'm kinda worried about the space under there

you could do it but it would be almost completely worthless to put 6X9's under the seat. if you want to put something under the seat try an 8 inch sub

JL Audio makes a small speaker box with an 8W0.. that fits behind the bench, but you do have to move it up a little... I was cool with it, and I'm 6 feet tall. Add an amp (mounted under the bench) and it hits really hard. Lotsa boom from a little dak.

Hello everybody. I make custom boxes for regular cab dakota's. It is long and small heigth wise. It will hold 2 or 3 8 inch sub's. I also sell the round style sub that is made by Cadence, which is the same company that made the Solobaric Kickers. The sub's are the excact same as the solobaric, but with out the "Kicker" name stamped on them. The 8 inch with 'kicker's name on them went for as much as 250.00 + each. I can give you the same speaker for half that. And 3 eight's behind the seat of a reg cab is some very nice bass. This sub company has made speakers for kicker, soundstream lanzar...ect The box is designed to fit with hte seat all the way back. Its a sealed box and comes in choice of carpet color. I sell the box for 165.00 + shipping. Also will make a package deal if you want solobaric sub's installed.
