It may work but you should always run the wires directly to the batt ( at least the positive, ground it as close to the cb as is practical), hooking into the cig lighter may cause cb to pick up noise,

Thanks for that tip, but I guess its just as well that I went to the lighter 'cause the CB turned out not to transmit or recieve at all...
