Stuff in, or on, the truck might rattle but the box itself (if built correctly) should not rattle at all - it should be solid.

I'd say line everything with dynamat. It will make everything stop rattling and cut down on the road noise too.

If your system is decent then you'd better get used to that rattle! cuz there are some things that the Dynomat won't fix. I have a 1990 extended cab Dakota, I have two 15" Cerwin Vega 15D4's, a 1200(continous) 2000(peak@1.3ohm) 2 guage wiring and all matching components. So far all of the screws in the plastic molding have fallen out about 3 times, the glove box door falls open, the cup holder pops open, i can adjust the mirror when i start driving and after about two minnutes its pointed straight down, if the windows are down they rattle inside the door(along with all of the other stuff inside the doors) Also, ever time they hit the speedometer needle drops about 6 mph and the headlights dim, I need a capacitor and a new battery bad!lol But for me if the rattlin gets too bad just turn it up louder then u cant hear it ;) lol but thats me
