well, i got my memphis st1000D powered up today!!!
i wasnt going to hook up the subs yet, but i couldnt resist. and i can say is oh my f u cking god its loud!!!!!!!
i have built quite a few sub setups, and this is by far the loudest!!!! it hits harder than my last setup, which was the same subs in a ported box in my cougar off a kenwood x401m.

i fogot to mention, im using the stock deck.
i used a line out converter. it has nice crisp bass, no distortion at all.
sounds just as good as when i had it off my kenwood x815

also did you have the seats on the box or off when you turned it on? I had a set of subs fired up and when I turned the forward they hit alot louder just curiious?

im still not sure what im going to do about seats. i know for sure the factory seats are not going back in.
i was thinking about using 1/2" MDF and putting it on some hinges (like cabinet hinges) and mounting it to the box. then try to match the factory leather and cover it.
i hardly ever have someone in the back. but someone really needs a lift, they can sit their a$$ on the wood. if its a long trip, ill get a cusion for them to sit on.

lol that was my theory when I put a 5cuft box in the cc of my truck but now that I did remove my seats I find people asking me for rides. lol
