I know there are a lot of awesome audio products out there now a days that do everything you need in a small package, but I don't want that. I was looking for a head unit that either played mp3s or at least have cd changer controls and made by a company that also made cd changers that played mp3s. Now here's the crazy part. I don't want the head unit to have ver many eq options at all. I would like it to have 3 sets of rca outs, front, rear, and subs. And I want to get three seperate half din eq's with sliders controls. I know that would be a bit of a waste, but that's what I want, I like lights and buttons :) Any suggestions?

Most of the better heads out there have what you are looking for, but they also have EQ functions built in. Most people want all the functions in one package, so you will hard pressed to find a head without EQ settings.

I know JVC (that is what I use, I have had the best luck with them)makes several with the functions you are looking for, but they have EQ's built in.
For example: JVC Arsenal KD-SX9350, JVC digifine2.2 KD-SH909 (this is what I have), JVC Arsenal KD-LH2000

Other brands have several comparable models, and everybody likes a different brand.

In your case, just set the internal EQ to flat, then adjust with your add on EQ's. Personally, it sounds like kind of a waste of money, but to each his own.

If you like lights then you should check out a Sony EQ I'm selling, you'd love it... but I only have one of them. See my web site for more info.

My Clarion deck controls and external EQ/DPS unit but the "lights" are still up front on the radio. It has the "wow" factor going for it... if that what your looking for.
