Subject: getiin a mtx thunderform but what amp IP: Logged
Message: Im gonna get the mtx thunderform with subs in it for my 97 dakota ex cab. i want to get a amp that will fit under either seat hopefully driver side.
Im thinkin of gettin a mtx 4250d cause i dont want to spend to much but is it enough to get some good loud sound, not competition but so people might turn their heads.
Im willing to pay around about 200 so if you know any other ok/nice amps that are better id appreciate it
thanks

Message: I picked up my Tform used with an MTX 8302 amp. It fits under the drivers seat. MTX says it's 300W bridged. Sounds good to my ears. It's not booming bass by any means, but it will let you know it's there.
If you are going with a preloaded Tform, it's going to be wired at 4 ohms. The 4250 is only going to put out 125W at that rating. If you load the Tfrom yourself and wire it for 2 ohms, that's a different story.
