Chris and Tweaked:
I had one of these behind the drivers seat of my toyota MR2. I thought it sounded good. Than last year I fried it listening to limp bizkit so I got a rockford HE 8" and 200W alpine sub. It sounds alot better. I used one of those mtx boxes with the tweeter disconected. If you don't want alot of bass go with the kenwood. But I go with an 8" behind the seat. There's a volume remote on the kenwood but after 1/2 it's no louder. There are two speakers and one is amped and the other is just there to move air. The unit is made of plastic so musically it don't resonate very well. hope this helps. Let me know if I forgot anything
