stay away from the sony subs...those are crap. the alpine subs arent to bad...the jl subs are prolly the best of the 3...but before u set ur mind to it check out the kicker L5's...im not sure what theyre specs and power requirements are, but i know they sound really good...

I have 2 of the alpine type r 12's, there 1000 watts max a piece and there good subs i also have memphis 1500d amp.Like justin said stay away from sony...crappy subs.
