Subject: amp selection and setup IP: Logged
Message: I have a pair of pioneer ts-w254dvc 10's with the dual voice coils. they r in a small box (about .58 cu ft). I am kind of new to the whole amp selection and setup. I am looking at this amp:
Rockford fosgate punch 400s
400w x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged
200w x 2 @ 2 ohms
100w x 2 @ 4 ohms
which setup would be best. or would another amp be a better choice. thanks for your help.

Message: whats the ohm ratings on the speakers? If u can bridge them at 4 ohms it would prolly sound best...thats gonna put about 200w into each speaker and being its a rockford amp it will be "true-wattage" not some b.s. rating from an amp like pyrmid or jesen...lol...plus mono always sounds better than stereo on subs anyways...hope that helped...
