I have had nothing but problems with my kicker solobaric L7's. They are DVC 12's, I am running 2 at 700 watts over a 2 ohm load thru a VR1000. I have gone thru 3 in the past 6 months. My speaker leads keep breaking (this is with 2 different boxes). Anyway, I am going with a different driver. Any suggestions? I would like to go to one sub since I just traded my CC for a QC. TIA. By the way, my front stage consists of 2 sets of Diamond Audio 6 1/2 comp.

your running 700wrms to each 12? How big is your box? Is it ported? if so what's it tuned to? No way you should be breaking the speaker leads with only one zr1000 on them.
