Subject: DOZ IT MATTER? IP: Logged
Message: I have 2 10' subs in the back and non-stock speakers in the front. The problem is that my subs over power the speakers. Does the head unit make a difference because the one I have now is a mopar. Any seuggestions on how to give more volume and power 2 my speakers??

Message: if your sub amp is connected to the rear channel then fade it to the front...before I put an amp on my front channel I had it faded to the front a little....you can either to that or just simply turn down the gain on your amp until you get it sounding to your liking

Message: Yeah, this is a problem in a lot of systems with two or more subwoofers. It doesn't take much to overpower interior speakers, especially if they're stock. Yours aren't stock, but if they're just running off the head unit they don't have enough power to get them loud enough. It really does take an external amp and upgraded interiors to keep up with a good pair of subs.
Like cj said, you can either just turn the gain down or use the fading option. That's your best bet
