Message: At a point in time I had a 10" jensen in a box placed behind the driver's seat with a 600 watt amp (cant remember what type). Now i am planning a kicker solo-baric 3 12" combo... just need to read about smoe more amps.. i am also planning this same set-up in a 99 5.9 CC. I will send you pics if I dont have to get rid of the 92 in order to purchase the 99.... but it's looking like i may... oh well, it's worth it.

Message: I have a 92 dakota with extended cab and i have two 10 inch audiobahn (600 Watts a peice) and a 1200 watt amp by JBL, i have them all sitting underneth my rear seats. I made metal blocks to raise my rear seats up 1 inch, took the seat cushions out and cut about 1/2 of the cushion foam out from the bottom then placed 1/2 mdf in the bottom of the seat cushion and screwed into place the seats metal frame(so now you can sit down and not flex the seat and hit your subs) then cut bottom of the body and dropped it to allow for a bigger box/more air space. (you dont raelly need to cut the bottom of the body out but less airspace may make your subs not hit so hard and damage them)
also i took the little tool capartment out
I made the box myself and cut the bottom of my truck out and re welded the metal after dropping the rear so this may not be the way you would wont to do this but hey its another idea.
