I don't have the Infinity system and didn't look at any trucks that had it. So no, I wasn't kidding. Thought it was a valid question.

The inside corners (I guess you mean the woofers in the front) are right about where your feet are. Just kinda built into the door panel pocket area. The rear speakers are at the feet of the back seat (for Quad Cab).

Well, I have an aftermarket component set that I want to install. Was just wondering if I found some door panels from a totaled truck, could I replace the stock tweeter with the aftermarket one to sort of keep the stock look.

That should work ok(assuming the speakers are the same size, of course). Don't know if you'd have to do any work on the mounting areas.

I have a truck without the infinity system and I mounted my tweets in the same location. When you take the door panel off, you will see the template for the cutout already on the inside of the door panel. I would imagine you could paint the grille of your existing tweets to give it a semi-stock appearance. Just another thought....

I did the exact same thing. I installed a set of polk components in my dak. Just remove the door panel---look on the back side---and you can see exactly where it goes. Then get a set of hole saws---I used the elcheapo set from the local hardware store normally used for putting in door knobs. Cost me about 7 bucks for a complete set. Then just be careful when cutting the hole!
